I’m so glad you’re here.
No matter your journey to this point, I’m glad you’ve found yourself here. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you work toward your goals. Before I get to know you, here’s a bit about me -
After studying at the University of Michigan for my undergrad and graduate degrees, I moved to Chicago where I received extensive training in evidence-based therapies and developed a specialty in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. I eventually began supervising and training other therapists in Chicago as they worked to hone their skills and become evidence-based therapists. During this time, I also co-authored a book on parenting anxiety with two of my colleagues in the field. All the while, my work with individual therapy clients has continued to be my passion.
When I moved back to Michigan and found my home in Grand Rapids, it became my mission to bring compassionate and truly effective therapy to the mitten state. It is my privilege to get to know you, your story, and the goals and hopes you carry with you. Together, we will create a plan to help you reach those goals - a plan that goes beyond traditional “talk therapy” and harnesses research-backed skills and strategies to help you experience the change you hope to see and live a life that aligns with your values.
When I’m not meeting with clients, you can find me near the water, embracing all that the Great Lakes State has to offer! I also love finding time to test out new recipes in the kitchen and dive into a new album on Spotify.
